Côte d’Ivoire Grants New Permits for Gold Exploration

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire – Côte d’Ivoire has granted three new gold exploration permits to two companies already operating in the country, the Ministry of Mines said on Thursday. ZS Ressources Sarl, co-founded by Lebanese investors Saab Mohamad and Zein Mohamed, secured two permits for the Daoukro region in east-central Côte d’Ivoire. Schiba Mining SA, an Ivorian firm, received the third permit for the Touba region in the west.
