Consumer prices in Seychelles fell into deflationary territory in February, with the year-on-year inflation rate dropping to -0.09% from 0.97% in January, data from the country’s Bureau of Statistics showed on Friday. The decline was driven by falling costs for fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, oils, and fats, alongside lower housing, electricity, gas, and transport prices.
