Ghana Names Asiamah as Central Bank Governor as Addison Retires

Accra, Ghana – Ghana’s central bank governor, Dr. Ernest Addison, will retire in March 2025 after eight years in office, with President John Dramani Mahama nominating Dr. Johnson Asiamah as his replacement, pending approval by the Council of State.
