The Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) project, one of Africa’s most ambitious gas developments, began production on December 31, promising to deliver over 2 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually to local and global markets. With a price tag of $7.5 billion, the project is a testament to collaboration and ambition in a region poised for an energy transformation.
