Abuja, Nigeria – Nigerian wireless communications providers have protested recent price increases by Starlink, expressing unease over the growing influence of Elon Musk’s satellite-based internet service. The Association of Telecoms Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) filed a complaint with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), arguing that the price hike breaches regulatory guidelines that prevent them from raising tariffs.
