Australian mining company Canyon Resources Limited has been awarded a 20-year mining license to develop the Minim-Martap bauxite deposit in Cameroon’s Adamaoua region, the government announced. The project represents a $5 billion investment in the country’s mining sector, according to the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technical Development.
