PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA – Vantage Capital has invested R635m ($40mn) in Commercial Energy South Africa, consolidating SolarAfrica’s ownership of a fast-growing commercial and industrial solar portfolio.

Vantage Capital, Africa’s largest mezzanine debt fund manager, said the investment into Commercial Energy South Africa (CESA) — a subsidiary of SolarAfrica Energy — was made alongside co-investor Greenpoint Capital.
