Nigeria’s Seplat hits first gas at ANOH plant, marking milestone for Africa’s gas ambitions

  • Seplat starts first gas at 300 MMcfd ANOH processing plant
  • Project supports Nigeria’s gas monetisation and flaring reduction goals

 

ABUJA, NIGERIA – Seplat Energy Plc has achieved first gas production at its 300 million standard cubic feet per day ANOH Gas Processing Company, a major milestone for Nigeria’s gas sector.

Seplat said the breakthrough followed completion of the 11-kilometre Indorama gas export pipeline and receipt of regulatory approval from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.
