Africa’s passenger airline market outperformed all global regions in November 2025, recording double-digit demand growth and strengthening its role in the global aviation recovery, industry data shows.

Passenger airline demand on the African continent rose by 11.2% year on year in November 2025, according to the International Air Transport Association, significantly outpacing global growth and highlighting renewed momentum in regional air travel.
