CAIRO, EGYPT – Inflationary pressures across Egypt’s supply chain intensified in November as higher fuel, manufacturing and transport costs pushed producer prices sharply higher, official data showed.
Egypt’s Producer Price Index (PPI) rose 12.9% year on year in November, according to figures released Wednesday by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), underscoring renewed cost pressures facing domestic producers.
