ABUJA, NIGERIA – Nigeria’s push to lift crude output gathered pace as indigenous producer Petralon Energy advanced drilling at its Dawes Island field in the Niger Delta under the country’s Petroleum Industry Act.
The company announced the activation of its DI-2 well and the successful spudding of the DI-3 well at PPL 259, signalling an aggressive output expansion drive aligned with Nigeria’s production targets of 2.5 million barrels per day.
