Tunisia inflation hits five-year low

  • Tunisia’s annual inflation fell to 5.3% in July, the lowest since 2020
  • Despite the drop, core inflation and rising health and transport costs point to stubborn underlying pressures

 

TUNIS, TUNISIA – Tunisia’s annual inflation eased slightly to 5.3% in July, down from 5.4% in June, reaching its lowest level in five years, the National Institute of Statistics said.
