  • Ghana raises 2025/2026 cocoa producer price by 62.58% to $5,040 per tonne
  • Move could impact global cocoa prices, pressure rival producers to follow suit

 

ACCRA, GHANA – Ghana’s government has sharply raised the producer price of cocoa to $5,040 per tonne for the 2025/2026 season, up from $3,100, in a move expected to influence global cocoa markets and improve farmers’ incomes.
