Ethiopia moves to cut dollar dependence in trade shift

ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA – Ethiopia is pushing ahead with plans to settle international trade in currencies other than the US dollar, the Ministry of Finance confirmed on Friday, as it seeks to ease pressure on foreign exchange reserves and broaden its investment ties.
