Abuja, Nigeria – A holiday‑weekend statement from Nigeria’s presidency has failed to stamp out talk of a serious rift between President Bola Tinubu and Vice‑President Kashim Shettima. The release decried “deliberate and well‑orchestrated falsehood” and “mischievous and fabricated reports” alleging that Shettima had been shut out of Aso Rock.
