Zambia’s First Quantum $1.25bn expansion to double copper output

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Canadian miner First Quantum Minerals has commissioned a $1.25 billion expansion at its Kansanshi mine in Zambia that will nearly double copper production and extend the mine’s lifespan by 20 years.
