Nigeria Sets Ambitious Cocoa Production Target for 2025

  • Aims to increase cocoa output to 500,000 metric tons by 2025

Lagos, Nigeria – Nigeria has set an annual target of 500,000 metric tons of cocoa output by 2025, up from the 340,000 metric tons it produced in 2022. The Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investments, Ambassador Nura Rimi, disclosed Tuesday.
