ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA – Global shipping group Maersk has suspended new cargo bookings to and from Somaliland’s Port of Berbera, exposing vulnerabilities in Horn of Africa trade routes and complicating Ethiopia’s push to diversify maritime access.
