Burkina Faso’s Exports Surge 25.1% in 2024

  • Total exports reached $4.7 billion, driven by gold, cotton, and cashew sales.
  • Imports rose 4.6%, narrowing the trade deficit to $670 million. 

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – Burkina Faso recorded total exports of 2,983.8 billion CFA Francs ($4.7 billion) in November 2024, a 25.1% year-on-year increase, the General Directorate of Economy and Planning (DGEP) announced Wednesday.
