Living standards among Moroccan households have improved structurally, but inequalities remain entrenched. According to a report from the country’s statistics agency on the National Household Living Standards Survey 2022-2023, government safety net policies have contributed to poverty reduction. However, groups not targeted by these measures have become increasingly vulnerable, and the proportion of households at risk of falling into poverty has expanded.
