Lagos, Nigeria – The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has approved a 50% tariff increase for telecom services, a move designed to address rising operational costs in the telecommunications industry. The increase, announced in a statement signed by the NCC’s Director of Public Affairs, Reuben Muoka, falls short of the 100% hike requested by telecom operators.
