Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Ethio Telecom plans to invest approximately $1.41 billion in expanding its services to reach 83 million users in the fiscal year 2024/25, according to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frehiwot Tamiru. “Our mission is to make digital Ethiopia a reality, transcending connectivity to provide comprehensive solutions that drive national development,” Frehiwot said during a recent media briefing on the company’s expansion strategy.
