  • Food prices rise, services ease, core inflation slips

 

TUNIS, TUNISIA – Consumer prices in Tunisia were unchanged in December, capping a year of easing inflation and leaving annual price growth at its lowest level in nearly four years.

Annual inflation stood at 4.9% in December, down sharply from 6.6% in the same month of 2024, according to official data released on Monday by the National Institute of Statistics.
