- Chemical prices lift Morocco’s industrial costs
- Inflation stays subdued despite growth momentum
RABAT, MOROCCO – Morocco’s industrial producer prices rose in October after six straight months of decline, as a surge in chemical costs outweighed weakness in food and technology manufacturing.
Data released in the October Producer Price Index (PPI) by High Commission for Planning showed the index gained 0.4% month-on-month, accelerating from a 0.1% rise in September. The index increased to 117.7 points, up from 117.2 in the previous month.
